Menjadi suksesor dari generasi sebelumnya, Samsung Galaxy M53 5G hadir dengan banderol harga sedikit lebih mahal dan sejumlah peningkatan yang menarik. Desainnya dirancang berbeda dengan modul kamera kotak, namun tetap tipis dalam profil 7,4mm dan bobot 176 gram. Dibekali layar luas Super AMOLED Plus 6,7 inci yang mendukung refresh rate hingga 120Hz.

Untuk urusan dapur pacu, kini tak lagi gunakan chipset milik Qualcomm, melainkan MediaTek dengan seri Dimensity 900. Mendukung 5G, penggunanya bisa menyimpan file lebih banyak berkat kapasitas penyimpanan internal 256GB. Tentunya, masih bisa diekspansi lewat kartu microSD. Termasuk kapasitas RAM 8GB yang bisa diduplikasi sampai 16GB melalui fitur RAM Plus. Baterai Samsung Galaxy M53 5G sama-sama 5,000 mAh, mendukung fast charging 25W.

Peningkatan lain ada pada sektor kamera, di mana sensor utama kamera Galaxy M53 5G kini beresolusi 108MP. Sensor lainnya juga bertambah, namun turun secara resolusi, yakni masing-masing 8MP ultra wide-angle, 2MP depth sensor dan 2MP makro. Sementara di bagian depan, tetap disematkan kamera 32MP untuk swafoto berkualitas tinggi dengan perekaman hingga 4K 30fps.
